DEUTSCHSTART FÜR MAMAS

- DEUTSCHER SPRACHKURS FÜR ANFÄNGERINNEN MIT KINDERBETREUUNG -

Der „DeutschStart für Mamas” ist ein klassischer Sprachkurs für Anfängerinnen , der in Kooperation des Projektes Heimat ERlangen mit dem Stadtteilhaus „Die Villa” für Herbst und Winter 2025 angeboten wird.

Dieser niederschwellige Kurs richtet sich an absolute Anfängerinnen (A1). Im Vordergrund stehen der spielerische Umgang mit deutscher Grammatik und Konversation.

Der Kurs ist kein zertifizierender Kurs, eignet sich aber als „Vorschule“ für weiterführende Sprachkurse mit abschließender Sprachprüfung. 

Parallel zum Kurs wird eine kostenlose Kinderbetreuung angeboten.

DEUTSCHSTART FÜR MAMAS

- GERMAN LANGUAGE COURSE FOR BEGINNERS WITH CHILD CARE -

” DeutschStart für Mamas” is a classic language course for beginners, offered by Projekt Heimat ERlangen in cooperation with the community center “Die Villa” for autumn and winter 2025.

This low-threshold course is aimed at absolute beginners (A1). The focus is on a playful approach to German grammar and conversation.

The course is not a certification course, but is suitable as a “pre-school” for advanced language courses with a final language exam. 

Free childcare is offered parallel to the course.
 

INFORMATION 
about the German course
"DeutschStart für Mamas" Autumn/Winter 2025 

This course is a collaboration between a non-profit social organisation, Projekt Heimat ERlangen (a project of Mütter- und Familientreff Erlangen e.V.), and a community centre, the Stadtteilhaus "Die Villa".

We only offer one presence course (A1) 

​

ONLY women living in Erlangen and the surrounding area can participate. 

​

The course is NOT suitable for teenagers and children.

​

Our course is NOT an integration course.

​

Applications will NOT be processed in chronological order. 

​

Women requiring childcare and those wo come with a small baby (0-1 Y.) will be given priority.

Conditions of Participation:

You must know the Latin alphabet
By Latin alphabet we mean that you can read and write in a language (e.g.: English, French etc.) that uses the Latin alphabet. If this is not the case, you will be not able to participate in our course.

You must be able to read and write
In any other case, you will rather need to take a literacy course before starting a classical language course. Such literacy courses are offered by the VHS in Erlangen, for example, but there are also other courses available.

Course Fee:

  • The full price of the course (from 10. November 2025 to 11. February 2026) is 198 euros.

  • If you have an ErlangenPass, you pay only 50%.

  • In any case, you must pay in cash directly to the teacher on the first day of the course. 

  • You will only be officially registered for the course once you have paid the fee. 

  • If you leave the course, your fee will not be refunded. 

Childcare:

We also offer free childcare during the course hours.

Children under the age of 1 year must stay with their mother during the classes.

Please bring your child(ren) to the course on a regular basis.

Please do not bring your child(ren) to class if they have an infectious disease.

Schedule:

  • The course takes place twice a week, on Monday and on Wednesday.

  • There are no sessions during the Christmas holidays. 

Communication within the group:

There will be a Whatsapp group for your language course.
This will be created shortly before the start of the course.
The teachers and the childcarers will also be part of this Whatsapp group.

You must provide us with a mobile phone number on which WhatsApp is installed. 
It does not matter if this is a foreign number.

Data Protection:

By filling out the application form below, you will agree that the Projekt Heimat ERlangen and the Stadtteilhaus "Die Villa" may use your personal data in connection with the above language course for communication purposes, in particular for exchange via the WhatsApp platform as well as for reporting purposes.
